Vision and Mission

What We Do

We have personally experienced the power of a clear vision and an inspiring mission. We believe this was the very prerequisite that transformed ACT, born in a small post-communist country, from a micro-business into a global player.

Years of working with leading business companies have ultimately convinced us of how vital it is for an organization to understand why it exists, what purpose it serves, and what value it creates for its clients and the world at large. We have also seen firsthand how a company’s vision, mission, and values can be translated into organizational growth and financial success.

In our experience, a lack of vision or unaligned priorities is easy to identify, as such companies exhibit at least two of the following seven symptoms:

  • Focus on Individual Performance: Managers focus on individual results (personal, departmental, or business unit) and care little for the company’s overall needs or achievements.

  • Mistrust and Avoidance of Responsibility: Everyone avoids accountability for failures; blaming and finger-pointing become part of the organizational culture. Consequently, trust among management and employees is low.

  • "Stuck" Decisions and Unfinished Business: Decision-making drags on for months, and even after a decision is made, execution often fails to materialize.

  • Frequent Changes in Priorities and Inconsistency: Company priorities shift often, leading to high levels of confusion and frustration among employees. Resources are scattered in different directions, resulting in low efficiency.

  • Low Employee Loyalty and Engagement: Even with good salaries, employees are demotivated and unwilling to volunteer for company-beneficial activities without extra pay.

  • Meager or No Investment in Development: Despite positive financial results, the management team avoids investing in innovation, product development, or human growth due to a "fear of an uncertain future."

  • Negative Business Indicators: Growth rates or profitability are declining, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are negative or dropping (e.g., market share, Net Promoter Score (NPS), etc.).

Conversely, when a company has an ambitious vision for development and a strong sense of serving a significant idea:

  • The leadership team unites, and responsibility for the company’s success is shared.

  • Priorities become clear, leading to consistent decision-making.

  • Decisions are made quickly, increasing management efficiency.

  • Employees are inspired, leading to higher motivation and engagement.

  • The company’s pace of development accelerates.

  • Customer acquisition and retention improve.

  • Company revenue and profit margins grow.

How We Work

When it comes to developing a company’s vision and mission, we are guided by the following principles:

Authenticity and Uniqueness

We sincerely believe that a company’s vision and mission cannot be written from the outside, even by the most creative and intelligent consultants. A true, credible, and energizing vision stems from the aspirations, desires, and ambitions of its founders and management team. Therefore, our approach involves working with the team responsible for the company's development through individual meetings and facilitative group workshops. We help leaders formulate their individual visions and then merge them into a synergy that translates into the company’s unique vision.

Inclusivity and Co-creation

A genius idea may spark in one person's mind, but when it comes to a corporate vision and mission, we believe only those ideas born and refined through co-creation are viable. To ensure the vision and mission do not remain just words on paper but are shared and actionable, we create platforms that involve the management team first, followed by every employee in the organization.

Realization of Ideas and Practical Results

Agreeing on a vision and mission is a necessary condition for success, but it is not enough. Even exceptional ideas lose value if they cannot be implemented. Therefore, after developing the vision and mission, we offer support in:

  • Formulating strategies and tactical plans aligned with the vision.

  • Effective communication of the vision to employees, clients, and other key stakeholders.

  • Building a culture that supports the company’s vision, mission, and values.

  • Translating the vision and mission into product development, process improvement, and innovation.

  • Supporting the execution of the vision.

In this way, we help our clients become stronger, unlock their full potential, and achieve their maximum aspirations.
