The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in collaboration with ACT Global and Ipsos, has launched the Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Survey in Georgia and Uzbekistan.
The survey aims to assess how businesses in Georgia and Uzbekistan are responding to climate-related risks and opportunities, including their adaptation strategies, mitigation efforts, and investment needs.
The findings will provide valuable insights into the private sector’s readiness to address climate change challenges and transition toward more sustainable practices.
ACT Global, in partnership with Ipsos, is responsible for implementing the data collection in Georgia and Uzbekistan. The study will gather nationally representative data from firms across sectors, ensuring robust and reliable evidence to support EBRD’s climate strategy and policy dialogue in the countries.
Through this initiative, EBRD in partnership with ACT Global and Ipsos seek to better understand the barriers and drivers of climate action among businesses, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted interventions that promote green transition and climate resilience in Georgia and Uzbekistan.
