On 26 June 2026, ACT Global hosted a validation workshop in Gori, Georgia, as part of the regional PROGRESS project - Promoting Green Deal in the Eastern Partnership Countries.
The workshop brought together representatives from government institutions, civil society organisations, the private sector and academia, who joined both in person and online to review and validate the training knowledge modules developed for Georgia’s blueberry and almond value chains.
The discussions focused on sustainable agrotechnology, as well as climate-smart irrigation and fertigation practices. Participants assessed the practical relevance of the modules and provided valuable insights to ensure their applicability to the needs of Georgia’s agricultural sector.
The PROGRESS project is funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Federal Government and implemented by a consortium led by GIZ.
ACT Global extends its thanks to all participants and partners for their valuable contributions.
