Nestani Gaprindashvili has 13 years of practical professional experience, which she has gained in various public and private organizations in the fields of policy analysis, public finance, regulatory impact assessments, cost-benefit analysis, final evaluations. At different times she worked in the legislative and executive bodies of the central and local governments, in research organizations, and also has experience as a lecturer and trainer. She has actively participated in international projects and educational courses related to her profession. She is an author of numerous articles and publications.

Nestani has a doctorate degree in Economics (PhD in Economics) from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in public administration from the same university. Among her special professional interests are environmental economics and sustainable development, economic valuation of non-market impacts, and public welfare/well-being assessments.
